SALON POLICY

  • Chic Shades Hair Salon provides hair care services to ladies ages 9 and up. We offer simple styling as well as specialized hair color. We use the best products and the best practices to always ensure the hair's health!

  • All color services require a color consultation service prior to scheduling the color service. The consultation and color service are separate appointments.

  • All appointments requires a 25% deposit to secure services and card information is saved. For appointments booked internally, Phorest charges the card on file every Sunday to satisfy 25% deposit. Deposits are always refundable for cancelled appointments; and reapplied for rescheduled appointments. All balances are collected through Phorest terminal with saved card.

  • Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of scheduled day and time to avoid 50% charge for no-show. No-shows may reschedule when balance is paid; please note that future appointments require 50% deposit.

  • Multiple rescheduling will result in cancellation of the appointment and forfeiture of deposit.

  • A 20-minute grace period is given for all appointments, afterwards the appointment must be rescheduled.

  • Chic Shades Hair Salon does not accept tips.

  • Due to limited space and the desire for guests to enjoy a relaxed environment, no additional guests can be accommodated. Children are welcomed only if they are being serviced.

  • Your stylist may adjust the service or price based on a thorough in-person hair assessment.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone causing disruption and/or posing a safety risk.

  • PRICING TRANSPARENCY: Our stylists offer services at different price points based on their level of experience and expertise. This allows you to choose the stylist that best fits your preferences and budget. We also use Spectra Color Intelligence, a color management system that measures the exact amount of product used during your service. The cost of the color is calculated based on your hair’s specific needs — including length, thickness, and density — and is added to your total at checkout. Your stylist will always communicate with you to stay within your color goals and budget.
